for Podium and Poster Abstracts

THE CONGRESS THEME TOPICS:
1. New perspectives in elbow surgery
2. Contemporary skin coverage in UE
3. Modern Free flaps
4. Updates in wrist surgery
While we have the above four topics as the congress theme
topics, abstracts on other areas of hand and microsurgery
will be welcome.
INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPLETE ABSTRACT
APPLICATION:
1.
User registration. For using the system all
authors should register first
by entering at least one e-mail address and other personal
data. The abstract system will send a confirmation e-mail
with the ID & password immediately. The system can be
used only with a valid user account (user ID and password)
to enter and start working. Please save your account information
on your computer.
After registering, you may log in the system and go to the
next step.
2. Add a new
author by clicking the link in the left menu and complete
the author's details. After finishing you can add more authors
if you need.
3. Add an
abstract by clicking the link in the left menu.
Abstract format
Title
Make the title brief, the limit is 100 characters. Please
use upper and lower case letters in your title and make sure
the title clearly indicates the nature of the study/procedure.
Length
Abstracts may contain a total of 4000 characters or less.
Content
The abstract must include four parts: INTRODUCTION should
clearly state the problem and the purpose of the study; METHODS
should provide a description of what was actually done; RESULTS
should contain the findings of the study; DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION
should be based upon the findings and relate to the stated
purpose of the study and existing knowledge. Provide specific
details about your research/study. DO NOT list any author's
name or the institution in the abstract. A 2-year minimum
follow-up per patient is required for all results of reconstructive
procedures.
You can type your abstract directly to the on-line form or
paste a previously edited text. A plain text should be used.
Do not use any formatting elements (bold or italicus typefaces,
bullets, list elements, symbols, borders, lines, etc.) The
organizing committee does not take the responsibility for
text formatted by tabular separation.
Do not include photographic material, xrays, charts or graphs,
as they will not be accepted by the automatic submision program.
Applications must be submitted by
March 15, 2004 to be
eligible for review by the committee.
