Tour from Budapest to Bucharest
(S-1)
For
those who will attend both congresses, in Budapest and Bucharest, we will
have a convenient and enjoyable transfer program between the two cities.
Upon adjourning the IFSSH Congress in Budapest on June 17 2004, you will
be pick up by coach buses in front of your hotels. We will travel through
Nadlac border and arrive at Vata Spa in Romania in the evening. This wonderfull
Spa resort lies in Hunedoara county, in the centralwestern part of the
country where the Apuseni Mountains meet with the Southern Carpathians.
Check in in three or four stars hotels and specific Romanian dinner. Next
day, after an early breakfast, we will visit Hunedoara and the Corvin
Castle, ancient residence of prince Iancu de Hunedoara. Built in a gotic
style with Renaisance elements is one of the most famous castle of Romania.
We will take then the route to Bucharest passing to medieval town of Sibiu
and crossing the Carpatian Mountains through Olt Valley. The Olt Valley
dominated by century-old forests, is by far the most spectacular and the
most attractive region. The beauty of the landscape rivals the most wonderful
places in Europe and in the whole world.
Lunch in Rm Valcea and we will contiunue our travel to Bucharest passing
through Pitesti. You will arrive at yours hotels arround 6 oclock in the
afternoon just in time for the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception.

Opening Ceremony (S-2): Marriott
Grand Ballroom, 9 PM, June 18, 2004
On the evening before the congress, an opening ceremony will be held
at the Grand Ballroom (Salon D). The ceremony will begin with a short
welcome by our congress master Mr. Adrian Nastase, Prime Minister of Romania
and Dr. Mircea Beuran, Minister of Health and Family of Romania. Live
entertainment, and a cocktail party in the Constanta Ballroom will follow
the welcome. Registered participants and guests will be welcome at no
extra charge.
Chairmen's Banquet (S-3): location
to be announced , 8 PM, June 19, 2004
The
Chairmen's Banquet is planned to be held inside of the famous Parliament
Palace, the tallest building in Bucharest and the second largest building
in the world.A tour of this magnificent palace will be provided.
The site of the chairmen's banquet has not been decided as yet, but a
list of magnificent places are being carefully evaluated. Live entertainment,
and traditional Romanian cuisine will be await you. Registered participants
and guests will be welcome with no extra charge. There will be a nominal
charge for other guests.
Gala Dinner (S-4): Marriott
Grand Ballroom, 8 PM, June 20, 2004
Even though we will have another half day of conferences the next day,
the gala dinner will serve as our farewell dinner. It will be a semiformal
dinner with live entertainment and an open dance floor.
